E-mail setup for Android Phones
Follow our step-by-step guide to set up your e-mail account for Android phones and tablets.

Before you start...
Only your e-mail will be synchronized with your mobile device. Any calendar and contacts associated with that account remain stored on your computer.
Step 1
- Open your applications menu.

Find Settings and tap it.
The settings icon usually looks like a cog. -
Find Accounts and tap it.
There are lots of sections in the settings menu. If you can't see the accounts icon try tapping on some of the section headings to open them up.
Step 2

Find Email in the list and tap it.

Enter your Email address.
This will be the e-mail address provided to you by Datacenta. -
Enter your Password.
You must enter the password exactly as it was given to you. Make sure upper-case and lower-case letters are in the right place. - Tap Manual Setup.
Step 3

Find IMAP Account in the list and tap it.

Enter your username in the Username box.
This must be the Username provided to you by Datacenta. -
Enter your Incoming Mailserver in the IMAP Server box.
You'll probably need to delete what is already entered there and change it to the details provided by Datacenta. - Tap Next.
Step 4

Enter your Outgoing Mailserver in the SMTP Server box.
You'll probably need to delete what is already entered there and change it to the details provided by Datacenta. - In the Port box enter 25.
- Tap Next.

Enter your Outgoing Mailserver in the SMTP Server box.
You'll probably need to delete what is already entered there and change it to the details provided by Datacenta. - In the Port box enter 587.
- Tap Next.
Step 5

Ensure Sync Email is ticked.
In most cases it will be ticked automatically. - Tap Next.
Step 6

Enter your name in the Your name box.
This is the name people will see when you e-mail them. - Tap Next.
Congratulations!
Your new e-mail address should now be up and running!
