E-mail setup for iPhone and iPad

Follow our step-by-step guide to set up your e-mail account for iPhone and iPad.

Get Started

Step 1

  1. Open up your settings menu.
  2. Scroll down until you find Accounts & Passwords. Tap on it.
    Tap Accounts and Passwords
  3. On the next screen, tap Add Account.

  1. Tap Other account type.
  2. On the next screen, tap Add Mail Account.

Enter Email Account Details

Step 3

  1. Enter your name in the Name box.
  2. Enter your Email address in the Email box.
    This will be the e-mail address provided to you by Datacenta.
  3. Enter your Password in the Password box.
    You must enter the password exactly as it was given to you. Make sure upper-case and lower-case letters are in the right place.
  4. Tap Next.

Set Incoming Servers

Step 4

  1. Ensure IMAP is selected.
    Ensure IMAP is set
  2. Scroll down the page until you reach Incoming Mail Server.
  3. Enter your Incoming Mailserver in the Host Name box.
    Details for the incoming mailserver are provided by Datacenta.
  4. Enter your Username in the Username box.
    This must be the Username provided to you by Datacenta.

Set Outgoing Servers

  1. Scroll down the page until you reach Outgoing Mail Server.
  2. Enter your Outgoing Mailserver in the Host Name box.
    Details for the outgoing mailserver are provided by Datacenta.
  3. Enter your Username in the Username box.
    This must be the Username provided to you by Datacenta.
  4. Enter your Password in the Password box.
    You must enter the password exactly as it was given to you. Make sure upper-case and lower-case letters are in the right place.
  5. Tap Next.
