E-mail setup for iPhone on Gmail App
Follow our step-by-step guide to set up your e-mail account in Gmail App on iPhone.

Step 1
- Open up your settings menu.

First open the gmail app on your phone and navigate to the add account option. If this is the first account you’re setting up it will be in the middle of the screen otherwise tap the profile picture in the top right and then select add another account.

On the next screen, tap Add Account.

Step 2
- From the next screen you then want to select other (imap).

On the next screen, tap Add Mail Account.

Step 3
- Enter your name in the Name box.

Enter your Email address in the Email box.
This will be the e-mail address provided to you by Datacenta. -
Enter your Password in the Password box.
You must enter the password exactly as it was given to you. Make sure upper-case and lower-case letters are in the right place. - Tap Next.

Step 4

Ensure IMAP is selected.
- Scroll down the page until you reach Incoming Mail Server.

Enter your Incoming Mailserver in the Host Name box.
Details for the incoming mailserver are provided by Datacenta. -
Enter your Username in the Username box.
This must be the Username provided to you by Datacenta.

Step 5
- Scroll down the page until you reach Outgoing Mail Server.

Enter your Outgoing Mailserver in the Host Name box.
Details for the outgoing mailserver are provided by Datacenta. -
Enter your Username in the Username box.
This must be the Username provided to you by Datacenta. -
Enter your Password in the Password box.
You must enter the password exactly as it was given to you. Make sure upper-case and lower-case letters are in the right place. - Tap Next.
Congratulations!
Your new e-mail address should now be up and running!
